His Mankey is sitting a little beside and behind him, happily munching away on an apple. For those curious from his last post, at least looks like they're friends now.]

Hey guys! I've recently come back from a uh, whole week of being asleep? [He half-shrugs.] But anyway, I've got a question for you guys. There was... [He pauses, unsure what to exactly call what happened.] A debaaate? Back home, and I want to see how others not from Fraggle Rock would answer.

So, here's the question: Radishes or strawberries? If you want more context I guess I can try to explain it. But I definitely wanna know!

So this is something I've been thinking about for a while, but I realized it might be something worth talking about with everyone else too- it's nothing really serious, just about fashion actually. It feels like clothing here is a lot more flexible than it was at home. Especially for anyone in a field directly working with pokemon- Pokemon battles, or even contests- some of what I see looks like it could come off a fashion runway, but instead of being something no one could ever think of wearing even for a fancy party, it's someone's everyday clothes!

I wore something...a little like that, for my last big pokemon fights- basically, it was gengar themed, so you could say I was matching some of my pokemon. [Like a Sygna Suit...] But for all that I really like that outfit, whenever I wear it I get compared to Morty, so I feel like I should go with something else.

I don't really know where to start though- matching another pokemon could be neat, but that wasn't the original idea? I'd gotten the idea from the ghost themed clothes they had in Hisui to start.

What’s this? There’s glitter in the air. What’s this? There’s dresses everywhere.

Oh right. It’s Prom time.

From the afternoon on, on Friday the 7th of April, your characters will all be arriving at Tohjo Falls via the transport arranged for by Lance. He did end up borrowing a few of those Corviknights from the JKBA, but there are also several of you who will find themselves flown to the Falls by one of Lance’s Dragonites or Charizards. Please give them a poffin if you are able, they are all very good boys and girls.

Your characters will be set down on a tiled driveway (more like flyway, Ha) in front of an impressive-looking villa. Those who have been here before might note that the villa has gotten a bit of a renovation and an update. Turns out that when Team Rocket kidnaps you and keeps you captive in your own home for several weeks while wrecking the house and digging Arceus knows how many basements beneath the house, you might be entitled to some compensation.

And from the looks of things, Lance and co used that compensation to turn their little vacation home back into something where they can relax in peace.

After you arrive, you’ll be greeted by Lance or one of the other Elite Four members, who will give you a quick run-down. You are free to explore the house and surrounding area at your leisure. Please respect their privacy and do not go into any of the locked rooms. You’ll find your accommodations behind the house, so feel free to head there and unpack. Oh, and, there will be a little announcement later, so if you could be in the dining room for that, that’d be stellar.

[Lupa is sitting in what would be a nice little apartment, if most of the furniture wasn't absolute no-frills necessities, and the only decoration white fabric and/or paint on anything that wasn't already white. The windows are all covered with blackout curtains, and have cleverly arranged mirrors to help some of the light be reflected in through the tiny openings left behind.

What doesn't fit the austere theme is all the pokemon stuff. There's a kiddie pool in bright colors for a Vaporeon and a Milotic. And a ~~cat~~ Pokemon tree topped by a smug Thievul, a sulking Delphox just below, and a bunch of other Eeveelutions. Then there are a bunch of chew toys, many being used by the various doggies lounging around, Pokemon grooming sets, bags of treats... Not a single thing for human comfort, but clearly the Pokemon in this house are living like royalty.

Lupa is in fact sitting on the floor because the chair is occupied by an adorable shiny Snubbull in a cute cap that's splashed liberally with orange paint? Huh. Of course, there's also a white bandanna around the Snubbull's neck, as there are around most everyone's neck or paw or tail.

Lupa is currently carefully polishing the helmet of a Type: Null who's sprawled out across his lap in bliss but he looks up and gives a serious smile as the camera steadies.]

Lu-Lucario!

[Well that identifies the camera-mon behind the gear. Lupa starts right in, sounding a little rehearsed.]

I will introduce myself first. I'm Lupa of the Wolves Tribe, once commanding the territory of Vishuddha in the Junkyard. With no tribe accompanying me, I have befriended Pokemon for protection and companionship. I have been building my squad for some time, and I am now searching for a last few. Earlier, I had a fortunate meeting and found one that I am looking for, and now I ask you if you can provide news or help for the others.

I am searching for a breeder's eggs, or the wild location where the newly discovered canines Maschiff and Greavard can be found.

I'm also hoping to find someone who can breed a Skiddo that already knows Milk Drink, so I will not be unprepared for the next weird weekend when it arrives. I didn't know that lines other than Miltank could learn to give milk, and I'm glad for it.

[He might find Miltank to be slightly... unsettling, okay. Moving on.]

I'm also looking for a Pokemon that would fit the look I'm told is 'punk' and is primarily red in color. One that I have found so far is called Toxtricity in its shiny color, and I know it would require a breeder to get one. Another is Galarian Zigzagoon, also in its shiny color. I'm willing to listen to other ideas.

There are others that I am looking for as well, but I don't have anything narrowed down for. If you wish to help, I'll be glad for it and describe things in conversation for you.

[SILENCE. It lasts for almost a minute as Lupa looks at one of the non-dogs, a Sandshrew curled up between the extra arms (yeah, Sylph didn't know either) of his Type: Null. His expression grows more troubled.]

Is it right or fair to exclude someone when naming in memory? I have been doing that with my squad here, naming them after my men and our allies, and the territories we claimed. But there were other Tribes and when I think of the last one I feel... anger. I think I would want to kill the leader of that Tribe if he showed up in this place.

All that the laws of the Temple required was that he take my head, or I, his. I was more than willing to face him in single combat to ensure the safety and survival of my men. He did not allow lines of communication to be established. He decimated my Tribe instead of coming to kill me right away. He was incredibly hostile to our allies, even to the end. If he had any concern for the lives of his men, he showed us none of it. When he sent his men searching, they feared he would kill them if they failed. I... I feel that I might hate him.

Is it unfair to deny his Tribe remembrance because of him? I only feel... tired when I think of the rest, not this anger I feel when I think about him.

[Varian himself isn't on screen when the feed starts. Instead, the video first shows a quaking apple as Varian's voice is heard, speaking quietly.]

There's a Pokemon in there! I mean, I know there's Pokemon that look like food, but I'm pretty sure the apple is just an apple... And the Pokemon turned it into a defense, a-a home?

[He turns the Gear so he is on screen, giving a snorting little laugh. There is a Shroodle on his shoulder who looks far less amused, her eyes narrowed.]

It's just kind of funny! Back home, I worked a lot on keeping animals and bugs away from the apple trees. But they were just eating the apples, not living in them. [He taps the tip of the Shroodle's nose, and her angry expression eases up just a little.] Of course, Stain tried to eat the apple anyway. I'm not sure a fruit is the best thing to-- Oh!

[The camera flips, back on Applin, whose eyes are just barely peeking out.]

Look, there it is! You can barely tell the eyes aren't leaves. Does anyone know if these Pokemon inhabit other things?

[The video is pointed downwards at the front stoop of a house. Where there seems to be a respectably-sized pile of oblong objects. The camera wavers slightly as it comes into focus on the pile.]

[... It's bread.]

[Loaves of all shapes, colors, and sizes, just... dumped right on the doormat.]

[We're talking everything from the Johto equivalent of Wonderbread to rustic artisanal bakery items.]

[Then the camera's view swings back around to Heather; bleary-eyed, slightly grouchy, and clearly just woke up to find, for the umpteenth time this month, that the secret bread fairy had once again visited her place of residence.]

[All things considered, it's one of the less alarming, more harmless stalker-style pranks she's experienced.]

[But that doesn't make it any less baffling.]}

This is just to let anyone who knows either of them and doesn’t live with us know, Chip and Lorenz are both gone as of the last couple days. I’m sorry to have to tell people this way, but kinda figured it had to be done somehow.

[ The feed's main subject appears to be an older teenaged boy, leaned back on one hand so that his face can be seen in the upward angle of the camera. His hair is spiked, two 'horns' prominent up from his temples, but it's long enough it's starting to trail down to his shoulders in a sort of thick mullet. Anyone who recognizes Kirishima will recognize the fire engine red majority of it, but it seems he's also either embraced or resigned himself to the black of his roots beginning to melt up into it. Thanks, Snorunts.

The foreground, however, is the oblong ridges of what some may recognize to be eggs. It's almost like the viewer is part of some little congregation on someone's lawn, as the background shows the ridged roof of a house. ]

So I've been thinkin'... The flying system in this world is kinda weird! You can get a badge to use Fly outside of battle as early as the first gym in Johto if you beat Falkner, but you can't actually get the move Fly until Chuck in Cianwood if you stay in Johto or Sabrina in Kanto. Those're the fifth and sixth gym leaders in their region if you go in order.

I dunno why it's like that, but lookin' back on it, I think I'd have liked someone giving me the option of getting around some way other than warping or walking back to the places I'd been when I was new. So that's what I'm gonna do for you guys!

I've got six eggs here that could use a good trainer and they should all know Fly when they hatch. Two of 'em you can't really ride, but they're good for keeping you warm while it's still cold and delivering messages quick - they're a Fire type called Talonflame.

[ His lips press a wan smile. Talonflame was a favorite of Hawks and Hawks has just recently left. Moving on. ]

Two of 'em will evolve into the Steel type Corviknight. If you've taken a U-Bird, you've probably seen 'em! They're giant metal raven-looking birds. Pretty badass if you ask me.

[ He cuts a sharp-toothed, crooked grin. But that fades a little. ]

The last two I can actually show you their final evolution, but I wouldn't recommend them for new trainers. Not these two eggs, anyway. The Noiverns that they came from...

[ There is a clicking sound (cw: The Grudge) at some distance, along with some childlike giggling. Fortunately the effect is undercut by it being broad daylight in the feed, but you probably wouldn't want to be caught in the dark with something similar. The black head of at least one Noivern rises up over the roof, followed shortly by the rest crawling lizard-like, almost unnaturally with the tips of its wings to blot the structure out beneath the wider span beneath them. Kirishima reaches forward and perfectly cuts the feed off just as this nightmare in black and purple starts to scream. ]

So, all during January, it seemed my eggs just weren't hatching. I've not been here long, so I wasn't sure if that was normal for the season. but then, today, several seemed to hatch at the same time that had been due quite a bit ago.

[Including her Paldea egg from Arceus. There was a very happy ghost dog behind her.]

The video feed opens to.. not Sion, actually, but rather a shot of the exterior of a building. Those who have been to or otherwise seen the Collegiate Gym will probably readily recognize it, though, and before anyone who doesn't wonders too Sion's voice can be heard.

"As co-leaders of the Aurora League's first and oldest gym, the Collegiate Gym, Ryner and I are pleased to announced that a new expansion is now open for us."

The camera proceeds to pan smoothly to the side, showing--sure enough--that definitely is a new, smaller building off to the side of the main one.

"The Physical Fitness Center features equipment and space for Pokémon and humans alike to train up outside of battling. Like the rest of the gym it is open to the public, with similar hours of operation. There are also several rooms that can facilitate group activities, should anyone wish to host classes that are rather more physical nature than a typical classroom allows for.

"As always, any questions can be directed to either Ryner or myself, or you can simply stop by the gym any time during regular hours."

The feed lingers on the brand new building a moment or so longer before turning off. Huh, that's a little odd that Sion never showed his face the entire time. Perhaps he's just excited about the new expansion?

[This video is posted fairly early in the morning. Everything is still pretty grey from sunrise, actually. Naeva is, in fact, still asleep...at least one assumes that nest of blankets and pillows and hair is probably Naeva.

What's more important is a Lucario stepping into frame with a wheezy little giggle. Someone decided to evolve in the middle of the night to surprise Naeva. Remy has made sure the gear is recording, (maybe getting too close to it to determine this), then steps back to be fully in frame. Yes, look upon him, he is mighty and impressive and...very small for a Lucario, actually, but he doesn't know that.

After he is satisfied the camera has shown off how impressive he is, Remy turns and takes a flying, yippy leap at the bed, startling Naeva awake with a loud yelp.]

Wh--Remy? When did you--

[She doesn't get to finish that sentence. You see, there's another pokemon recently evolved. An Incineroar, who just got excited and dropped a people's elbow onto the bed. The ensuing chaos knocks the gear facedown on the table, so viewers can only hear that the bed is definitely broken.

[The feed opens on Joey and a Bisharp standing in front of a slot machine. Both wear ecstatic expressions as the machine dispenses coin-after-coin, and Joey holds a confused looking Dratini above his head as he cheers. Noise from the other machines and patrons occasionally cuts through the pair's exultation, but the majority of sound pouring through the feed comes from their cheers.]

Yo we did it! We made out like bandits!

[Joey thrusts the Dratini forward for the camera to see.]

Me and Hermos here have been killin' it on da slots, so dis lil' jackpot here marks twelve and a half grand we've managed to carve out! We got ourselves a big ol' chunk'a change and scored dis' heckin' baloon animal-lookin' Pokémon too! There's no stoppin' da wheels on da Joey Train!

[The recording opens on a shot of a living room floor. A laughing Angel is there, absolutely covered in kittens! Seven little Littens crawl over her lap, demand pets, tug at her clothes or are trying to wrestle each other. Each Litten is wearing a different coloured ribbon around their neck, though many of the ribbons have chew and singe marks.

Though, while it is Angel being recorded, it's Armin who speaks, his voice warm with fondness and humour.]

I'm Sonico, and I got here a little while ago, and I was wondering, is there a lot of food item Pokémon? and has anyone ever have trouble with them?(๑´• .̫ •ू`๑)

I'm asking because my Pokémon, Ocha, is a Sinistea and... I have tried to use her to drink tea before! (●´⌓`●)

I have never burned her, mostly just confused her with my actual cup of tea! (Ｔ▽Ｔ) I feel so bad! She always pokes me to stop me but! It's happened more than once~!

How do you catch a Pokemon if you don't have one to battle with? Can I just throw balls at it until one of them works? Feels like I'd run out fast.

2. Action - Route 29

Fortunately, Cloud is used to trekking around in the boonies, so the three-day journey on foot from New Bark Town to Cherrygrove - traveling through a forest filled with wild Pokemon, unarmed and alone - is no big deal to him. But Cloud's never been afraid to get scrappy when he needs to, and wild places don't scare him...and, well, he's used to being alone. So none of this really bothers him as much as it might bother someone else, even when CJ insists it's time to go hunt berries and takes Cloud literally when he tells the Swablu fine, go ahead, see if I care.

Which is why, when someone runs into him on his way through the forest, they'll find a 16-year-old blond in a military uniform squaring off with a Heracross. He actually holds his own for a brief bit, fighting with a style that's part military CQC training and part tenacious cornered animal, until the Heracross manages to slip its horn under a punch, scoop Cloud up with it, and toss him into a tree.

No, she was here to show off her shiny badge and her 'new pokemon', her recently evolved Graveler. Look at him, her boy has gotten so big and he's grown so many arms. He can punch so much now.]

Are all evolutions like this? This guy made the gym a piece of cake.
