[Once Amethyst sees that she's recording, her face - slightly too close to the camera - lights up with a grin.]

Hey, I was right! Cool, I shoulda checked this thing out sooner. I didn't know I was gonna be able to talk to anyone on it. This is way better than it just being a phone!

'Sup? I'm Amethyst. I've been here for a few days with my buddy Compactor. [She swings the gear around to show off a Gible in the grass.] And guess what? Little man here just won his first fight!

[Amethyst plops down across from Compactor and turns the camera back around. Hopefully, no one watching is getting motion sick...]

Well, his first fight against another person's pokemon, anyway. That rat didn't stand a chance. Compactor didn't even have to bite 'em, and that's his best trick! Hang on, hang on...

[And around the camera goes again, back to Compactor. When a twig, held by Amethyst, sticks out near him, he chomps down on it, joyfully breaking it down into wood chips.]

Look at that! And I thought I was good at eating weird stuff!

[Gobo is sitting out somewhere in a forest with colorfully streaked trunks, and has a bag of trail mix open in his lap, and backpack stowed nearby. His Mankey is sitting a little beside and behind him, happily munching away on an apple. For those curious from his last post, at least looks like they're friends now.]

Hey guys! I've recently come back from a uh, whole week of being asleep? [He half-shrugs.] But anyway, I've got a question for you guys. There was... [He pauses, unsure what to exactly call what happened.] A debaaate? Back home, and I want to see how others not from Fraggle Rock would answer.

So, here's the question: Radishes or strawberries? If you want more context I guess I can try to explain it. But I definitely wanna know!

[Nope, no impishness on his face at all here, and this post certainly wasn't inspired by the inclusion of freeze-dried strawberries in the trail mix he's got, that'd been prepared by a certain friend before he'd set out again. (Sorry not sorry, Boober).]

[The PokeGear opens on a Gobo who looks, well, roughed up would be a good word for it. His clothes are dirty, there's a twig caught on one shoulder and a couple leaves in his hair, and his face has a beginning bruise that's surely going to turn into a full black eye before much longer.

The culprit? A Mankey in the background, swinging around from branch to branch of the trees that line the route Gobo's on. They leap from one and into the bush, scattering a few random Pokemon; the entire time they're gamboling around, they've got one of those mesh-and-khaki sun hats on that is definitely a bit too big for their- head? Theirself.]

So uh, does anyone happen to know what Mankeys like to eat? [A defeated sigh.] Just wonderin'.

[The Mankey pops out of the brush and looks up, seeming to realize they're being filmed now. With a surprised squeak they retreat up into the top of a tree as Gobo turns.]

Wha- Hey! Come back here-!

[Blurred scuffle of getting up, and video cuts.]

[ A Chatot sidles up his arm to settle next to his head. She bobs up and down and watches the reflection on the Poke'Gear's screen with excitement.]

[ The Chatot fluffs up her feathers and bobs her head before speaking in a low gravely voice:]

Son of a bitch! BJ is the coolest! Good girl, Chatterbox! Good girl! Ha ha ha! Motherfucker! Cookie? Cookie?

[Beetlejuice brays with laughter as the Chatot continues to babble nonsense and curses.]

Cookie? Cookie time? Cookie? Arrest this, asshole! BJ is so sexy! You're so smart! You're so smart! God I'm so tired of being alone!

[ Beetlejuice gently but swiftly pinches her beak shut. ]

Alright, that's enough! No clue where she picked that up. BJ out!

Has anyone gotten a notification from the Jennies saying that there's an issue with their Trainer ID?

I feel like I've hit some sort of weird dead end with just more and more forms to fill out and it's... [Keith growled under his breath, his temper quickly fraying.] It's stupid. [He was visibly trying to keep his cool while on public video.]

[The feed opens on a Sobble dancing and singing, bundled up in a little Sobble-sized sweater that Ember bought for him. The video plays out for a little bit, and then as the Sobble finally finishes, he plops down looking happy with himself. Ember turns the camera to herself and smiles.]

I didn't think I'd get attached, but he reminds me so much of Wade. I guess he has Wade's spirit in him. I named him Tide - guess I don't have to look for the perfect water type anymore.

Anyway, you're supposed to do a New Years resolution, right? I think mine is to leave Goldenrod and do the gym challenge. Yeah, yeah - leaving in the middle of winter when you're a fire elemental is not the best idea, but I've felt so... stuck lately. I think I need a change. I'm packing up and leaving tomorrow!

Which means... I'm going to miss the next episode of Legit Crime! I'll... have to catch up on it in the next town I'm in. NO ONE SPOIL THE EPISODE FOR ME, OKAY?

So a winter holiday just happened, right? Snoggletog, Christmas, whatever you want to call it.

[The camera turns to the owner of the voice who looks both amused and confused. Holding his pokegear in one hand while waving the other in an animated fashion.]

Did anyone else have Pokémon eggs just randomly show up? I found two and this is what hatched out of them.

[The camera turns back to the Wooloo who seemed to have not moved at all.]

Ha ha, sheep for a Viking. Very funny.

But they are kind of cute.

[The video opens with a view, shot through a window, of a Steelix appreciating the quiet beauty of the fallen snow. Or at least, a Steelix trying to appreciate that beauty. Its attempts are interrupted at regular intervals by a sight that was extremely common (if somewhat dreaded) a mere day ago.

Despite the distance, despite the pane of glass, a very solid *thwack* can be heard, *thwack* repeated over and *thwack* over as an absolutely *thwack* tiny Tinkatink at–*thwack*–tempts to commit *thwack* aggravated assault.

It takes more than two minutes of that before a very, very tired Cecil finally speaks up.]

Summary: Ah, Christmas time! A time of joy, family and... commerce?

Like every year, the Goldenrod Christmas Market is opened on December 1st by a Santa (not the Santa, but certainly a Santa) with a merry Ho-Ho-Ho and a jolly tinkle of sleigh bells. And like every year, the stalls are stacked to the brim, overflowing with everything you might wish to buy this Christmas season. Every few stalls, the items make way for hot food and drink -- waffles, hot chocolate, cider, you name it and you can most certainly find it.

Just like last year, you too can open a stall at the Christmas Market. If you've got a special talent for creating things, why not drop by Goldenrod, and see if you can sell your creations for a bit of extra money. Stalls can be rented by the day, the week, or even for the whole month, so even if you've only got a small stash of items (or pokemon eggs or food or whatever) to sell, why not come by and try and make a buck.

The last few hours before dusk sees you all arriving at a large, stately home just outside of Lavender Town.

Unlike previous years, where Halloween had you visiting dilapidated castles, this manor home is in perfect condition. Age hasn't crumbled the walls or worn away the dark roof, but rather it sits on the manor like a heavy, proud crown, a testament to the many long years it has stood here while everything around it changed but it stayed forever the same. Candlelight flickers in its many windows, while it casts a dark shadow against the slowly setting sun. The gravel crunches under your feet as you make it up the long drive and a cold wind chills you to your very bones, even through the layers of whatever costume you've chosen to wear.

Then the manor's large double doors fling up. Two long shadows stretch down across the driveway towards you, light spilling around two silhouettes standing in the opened door, beckoning, inviting. Soy doffs his hat, while Riegfried bows deep, his hare ears nearly brushing the ground.

"Welcome to our Halloween Feast."

People probably heard her over the 'Gear yelling at her "mom" while being kicked out of the house. She's calmed down some now, but she still feels like a coal out of the fireplace here. Now that everyone has hopefully had enough time to recover from the events regarding those tunnels and the mysterious creature within...

I have been thinking about that quite a bit, I must confess. Isn't it intriguing that, even in a world so developed and known as this, there are still mysteries spread throughout it?

Species we are not familiar with. Legendaries that evade all attempts to be known. Macaroni and cheese boxes which boast about their cheesiness and which yet contain no packet.

[One of these things is not like the other.]

So, my question to others in our predicament is... What mysteries have held your attention, whether in this place, or your homelands?

For myself, personally, I have ended up stumbling onto the answers of many practical matters. Medicine, food, things of that nature. It is still incredible to me how Johto and Kanto manage to handle it all so readiliy, to the point that even travelers such as ourselves can live comfortably with some effort.

Yet I wonder more about these Legendaries as well, and what an interesting presence they possess....

[The video starts out somewhat shaky, though that might be due to the rumblings that occasionally go through in the background and certainly not at all that despite getting it a couple days ago, the user is still getting used to having the PokeGear. New Bark is visible in the background, but at the moment the subject- a muddy, scruffed-up newly arrived trainer with bright pink hair -seems to be sitting near the mouth of a tunnel on Route 29.]

You know, the little purple guy- [He indicates a Toxel sleeping against his side] -is really cute and all. And I guess being transformed like this is, ehhn, a new experience I wouldn't'a had otherwise, right?

But the tunnels full of giant pink monster things I think is somethin' I coulda done without. [Beat.] O-oh! I mean if this is normal, then it's- it's okay! I think. The actual tunnels are neat at least.

[He has to pause for another rumble through the ground, shaking the leaves on the trees; Toxel hardly stirs at all.]

Does anyone know how to get around the wormy things? They don't really seem like talkin'.

When the video begins, it opens immediately to the big blue eyes of a Joltik and its little OwO face taking up almost the entire screen. It taps the screen with one leg.

"I think it's recording..."

Oh. The voice - Claude's voice, for those familiar with it - is coming from the Joltik. This video must have been recorded a while ago, then - back during those odd few days where people and their pokémon ended up swapping bodies for a bit. (People who were not here for that event may be very confused.) Regardless, Claude, seemingly satisfied that the Gear is doing what he wants it to, promptly leaps away along what turns out to be a counter, like a popped kettle of corn flying out of a pan. Another hop and he's landed near Dedue, who is standing with undeserved patience in the middle of the room - which, now that Claude's entire face is not blocking people's views, is clearly a kitchen. Then Claude turns back to the screen, gesturing dramatically with one foreleg.
