"Thank you," she said quietly. She waited for the others to start out of politeness, not sure if there was any sort of observance Radley and his team would do first, but then settled in to eat once the rest did.

Well, it certainly made for a slightly messier meal than Romelle was used to, but, having been working on her diplomacy skills ever since being brought back to the Castle of Lions by training with Coran, she was able to take it all in stride.

And some of it was kind of cute. Pokémon weren't really animals, per se. They had more than animal intelligence, even if they weren't quite equal with humans or other more dominant races.

"It's going well, right now," Romelle said. "I would like to find a place where I have a bit more room, though. It's kind of crowded while I'm sharing with the others from my home world."

Romelle nodded.

"Yes... so I'm thinking I might consider keeping what I do small until such time as I can find a bigger place on my own that I can afford." She shrugged a little. "I was also thinking of setting up a place where I can grow and sell produce... like berries and apricorns... maybe make some baked goods like poffins. To help supplement paying for the breeding costs."

Romelle nodded. "That's encouraging," she said. "I'm glad to hear that you can do both like that. It bodes well for my plans, as well." She chuckled a little.

"I am curious, though... now that I have a breeder license instead of a trainer registration, I noticed that my access to things has opened up a lot," she said. "Did you start here as a breeder or did you change over to it from being a trainer like I did?"

Romelle nodded. "Yes," she agreed. "I didn't have to finish the gym circuit.

"That said, though... would you ever consider doing it? We're allowed to. I was debating finishing it. I have my first couple of badges already, and some of my Pokémon were enjoying it.."

Romelle nodded.

"That's fair," she said. "It's not always pleasant to watch them go through it, even if they seem to want to. Have any of yours ever expressed an interest in fighting?"

"It's good that there are other things to do for people who don't want to battle." Romelle definitely appreciated that.

"Games?" Romelle was curious. This wasn't something she knew much about. They didn't exactly have video games on the colony.

"Oh!" Romelle looked surprised at that. "That's actually really interesting. I think someone mentioned that about something else here, too." Her expression turned thoughtful. "There's a group of people here that Keith and Shiro have mentioned as being from some fictional universe back home for us. I... I really don't know who they are. The story is from their home planet, not mine. But, I'm wondering if that means other realities and worlds might have fictional versions of ones that exist elsewhere."

Really, with all the things Romelle had learned since leaving the colony about how the universe and reality seemed to work, she wouldn't be surprised at all if that were the case.

"Um..." Romelle frowned a bit as she tried to remember. "It was a very simple name... something about a battle in space?"

"Yes! That's it!" Romelle smiled a little. "A few of my friends from back home know that one." She, however, did not.
