017 - video
Now that everyone has hopefully had enough time to recover from the events regarding those tunnels and the mysterious creature within...
I have been thinking about that quite a bit, I must confess. Isn't it intriguing that, even in a world so developed and known as this, there are still mysteries spread throughout it?
Species we are not familiar with. Legendaries that evade all attempts to be known. Macaroni and cheese boxes which boast about their cheesiness and which yet contain no packet.
[One of these things is not like the other.]
So, my question to others in our predicament is... What mysteries have held your attention, whether in this place, or your homelands?
For myself, personally, I have ended up stumbling onto the answers of many practical matters. Medicine, food, things of that nature. It is still incredible to me how Johto and Kanto manage to handle it all so readiliy, to the point that even travelers such as ourselves can live comfortably with some effort.
Yet I wonder more about these Legendaries as well, and what an interesting presence they possess....

voice
[Like, an estranged relative...??]
voice
[Don't mind him, casually not talking about how she's adopted.]
[He's just really excited to be a dad, he's not thinking about it.]
voice
[Unfortunately, Doppio lacks the perspective to really know what to think about this beyond that. He doesn't remember his family, for one, and he's certainly too young to have any estranged children of his own.]
voice
[It's fine, they'll totally just keep skimming on here awkwardly, oblivious to it all.]
I know that I am dating Grant, and that he has a child of his own, but I didn't want to impress too much upon Chip that they were not comfortable with.
What of you, Doppio? Have you ever considered a family?
voice
Me? [Doppio laughs. It's hard to say if the sound is nervous, dismissive or both.] I'm a bit too young to worry about that just yet.
[That, and he doesn't think his job - his real job is especially compatible with the notion of starting a family. But Dimitri doesn't need to know that.]
voice
[Welcome to Ye Olde Shitshow. At least, from what he understands, some things he was used to were just... nobility fucking around sort of things. Wild what happens when you're trying to forge alliances between Families.]
I suppose it must be a cultural difference..
Still, one way or another, I do hope you find happiness with others, Doppio. You are a fine person, after all.
voice
It's the other thing Dimitri says that catches him off-guard once again.]
Uh... Thanks. Maybe one day!
[His laugh sounds a little more nervous than he'd like it to.]
voice
[.....Actually, now that he's thinking back on some of the things Grant has shown him during June...]
Ah! But there is no rush! Companionship shows itself in many ways, and anything is good as long as you are happy.
[IF YOU'RE ACE OR ARO, DOPPIO, HE SUPPORTS YOU!!!]
genuinely delighted about aroace ally dimitri
[HE'S NOT SURE WHY THIS IS BEING SAID BUT HE THINKS HE APPRECIATES IT??]
