[There isn't much noise in the background of the recording, just his normal bgm and the sounds of the city of Goldenrod.]

So. Are there clones of Officer Jenny, or is she just really fast?

[After waking up in a bed three times too small and experiencing an absolutely baffling exchange, Hythlodaeus finds himself in the company of a Tropius that manages to be taller than he is. Which is quite the feat at eight feet tall. He looks through his things and finds what is clearly a communicator. A face, obscured by a white mask and black hood comes onto the feed. His voice is alien to himself as he speaks; a rich mid-alto spoken slowly.]

Good... evening, everyone. [He both hopes that there is and is not an "everyone".] This is an effort, I suppose, to see if I am alone in this... simulation. Which, by the by, seems to have been given little oversight by my measure. Though on further examination, I doubt that an authentic experience was the goal.

[He's rambling, but he doesn't seem self-conscious about this.]

Well... There's only one direction to go, so I may as well start walking, hm?

[He shakes his head a little.]

Oh, my apologies. The oddity of this situation seems to have robbed me of my manners. My name is Hythlodaeus.

[The feed clicks on and all viewers are greeted with the smiling face of Emet-Selch, though those who have met him know him better as Solus. He's wearing his usual flamboyant garb, sitting in what appears to be a kitchen. It's his apartment's kitchen, but most details are blocked by him. To those with a bit more perception than others, they might notice the faintest hints of bruising on his neck and face (particularly his left eye) that has almost fully healed up, but even then it's questionable if that's what it is.]

Good evening fellow transplants, imports, travelers, or whatever distinction suits your fancy. I am Solus zos Galvus, and while I have spoken to some few of you already, I felt it only prudent to properly introduce myself ere long. What with it being nearly a moon since my arrival and all.

So, allow me to be the first to say that it is my great pleasure to meet all of you, and that I hope ours can be an acquaintanceship—perchance even friendship—that proves ever most favorable. I should be glad to get to know each of you. Should you find yourselves willing to not only give an introduction, but to likewise share a little bit about yourselves with me, I would be ever so grateful, and will return in kind.

[He pauses a moment, as if he's suddenly had a thought, his eyebrows ticking upward as a gloved hand cups his chin.]

Ah—I know well that it can be difficult to talk at length about oneself, especially in such an impromptu manner such as this, so how about we play a little bit of a game to break the ice, hm? Well, I suppose it's not much of a game, but rather...I have often found the best way to know someone is through a friendly discussion or debate. Particularly of the sort that deals with matters of morals and personal principles. 'Tis somewhat of a customary practice of my people, after all. Lets call it a means for me to share a bit of my culture with the rest of you, hm?

[Of course he's meaning...his actual people, and not the Garleans he's presenting himself as. But no one knows that, and the only one who might is a bloody Luddite anyway.]

So then, you can either tell me a bit about yourself, or discuss with me—and others, if you so choose—the topic I'll present. Even both, if you are feeling particularly loquacious. Anyroad, how's this for our little friendly debate: in your personal opinion do you believe that knowledge should be free to all whom wishes to learn it, or should it be safeguarded, hidden, only to be given to a select few that are deemed worthy?

[Yes, this might be a little pettiness aimed towards a discussion he had with Tyler, but hey! Only he would likely be privy to that, and he's less likely to be privy to this post considering Isis refuses to translate for Solus. OH WELL.]

I eagerly await your answer, friends.

[And with a languid and limp-wrist wave, he cuts the feed.]

[On screen, there's a guy with an almost bowl-bob cut of blond hair and a single note expression of mild irritation.]

The longer I'm here and read this network, the more I realize I am not the only one misplaced. I'll skip the inane questions and ask: has anyone seen or heard from Galo Thymos. There is. Quite literally no way you would miss him.

I'm looking for others as well. Meis, Gueira, if you're here, please answer me.

[He's... really worried okay.]

I will ask one question. What does everyone do for food?
