[ The zubat- Datura, she decides- settles easily on the back of Jinx's chair. Poppy gives a little wave before she realizes- whoops. He's blind. So instead she'll just say hello the verbal way!! And introduce Inda, of course. ]
Well, I hope you find more in the pack that you like... and, well, you've got a lot of people here to share it with now.

Mm. I did, yesterday. I should have waited longer. But it was...fine.

[Then he nods.] It's certainly more convenient than boiling the water over a campfire. Although the Fire Pokemon make building campfires much more convenient, too.
[In a few minutes, his tea is finished and so is Inda's. He fights a brief internal war over whether he wants to just sit here for a little while longer or get moving, and then he berates himself for even considering the former. What is wrong with him?]
Let me know when you're ready and we'll head out.

Jinx takes a moment to savor her tea further, idly kicking her feet back and forth a bit- careful not to hit anyone or anything, but otherwise unnoticed under the table. ]
Oh- while we're out, I should show you a store I got some of these from. They sell customized blends- and I think you can order online, too. It shouldn't take too long?
[ Still, it's clear he wants to make sure things go smoothly, so she finishes her tea and lets Poppy do the same. If there's any in the kettle... eh. They'll deal with it later. It's time to go. ]

[Felix apparently comes to the same conclusion about dealing with this stuff later, because he gets up and leaves the room without taking any of it with him--just Inda. He goes down the hall to his own room for a minute or two, mostly to grab his coat and scarf and bag, but also to check on Sylvain briefly. Which, he tells himself, is stupid--what's there to check on? asleep is asleep--but he does it anyway, and then releases some of their Pokemon from their balls to watch over Sylvain. Then, equally stupidly, Felix presses a gentle kiss to Sylvain's lips before he scoops Inda up to sit on his shoulder. They meet Felicity again out in the hall, Felix locking the door behind him.]
Come on.

Ecruteak has more reasonable, individual shops rather than one enormous store for everything, which makes it a lot easier to find what they're looking for. Felix doesn't know a lot about women's clothes, but he can at least point out the stores that sell clothes that are roughly the right level of fancy. At least, as far as he can tell.
When Felicity finds a shop she wants to investigate, Felix goes inside with her but hovers near the door.]

And perhaps even more thankfully, Jinx is a girl who knows what she likes and what works on her. She likes black and pinks and purples, and she wears them well. She's slim and graceful. The biggest problem is making sure the dress is just the right quality but she's got that super helpful associate... who may also be trying to talk accessories. ]

In the end, he does pull out his Gear and a pair of earbuds so he can watch videos of cats being adorable until someone addresses him directly. When asked what the limits of their budget is for this shopping trip, he shrugs and tells the associate not to worry about it. So when they start talking about accessories, he basically ignores it.]

Shopping was so much easier when it was just a smash and grab, honestly.Thankfully Jinx is steady against the waves of up-sale attempts. There's no way in hell she's replacing her necklace, for instance, and she doesn't need an accompanying one either. ... Matching shoes are a bit of a requirement though.Once everything is truly settled, she goes to get Felix.
Shopping threads are difficult.]no subject

He heads over to the register to pay for everything, ignoring whatever the associate might try to engage him in conversation about, and is abruptly glad he didn't bring Varley when he spots the shelves of cute accessories for Pokemon. She would definitely demand (and/or try to steal) something for herself.
...which takes him to the thought that if Sylvain were here, too, he would buy her whatever she wanted and call her a princess. Possibly with a literal tiara. Ugh, he's got to find a way to put Sylvain out of his mind for at least a little while.]
Where else did you want to go?

That tea store I mentioned?
[ It'd likely just be window shopping for now, since she just gave him a shitton of tea just two days prior, but seeing it for himself would be nice. She doesn't even consider that maybe on this, the day of her 16th birthday, she should... like. Take her wants into account. (Of all the times to not be a little selfish.) ]

[It's not sarcasm, just a legitimate question. He can't figure out why she would need to show him a store if they weren't planning to buy anything there anyway.]

[ She just shrugs, and looks through windows as they pass by more stores. Some things catch her attention audibly, like a cute outfit or even cuter plushies. Some do not, but she's still eyeing it, like laptops and tablets. ]

I don't care one way or the other. We can visit it if that's what you want.
[He watches her as they walk along from shop to shop, even as his own attention drifts to the occasional thing in a store window that he thinks Sylvain or Inda might like. Shopping is boring, but the more involved he gets in giving gifts, the more it seems to creep into his mind whenever the opportunity arises. It's annoying, actually; it feels like some kind of insidious manipulation, although by whom he doesn't know. Himself, maybe, for being so sentimental about mere objects.
(He's still a little upset that the few possessions he really cares about didn't accompany him to this world. Like his weapons, of course, but also Glenn's spur.)
Still, at one point he does duck into a shop to pick up a tiny little pair of Steenee-sized mittens (sometimes Inda gets cold, okay??) and--glancing around to make sure no one's looking at him, yes Felicity that includes you (though he might fail)--a headband with cat ears that are obviously supposed to be Liepard ears. This is for Sylvain, so that if he ever makes Felix wear that dumb Steenee hat, he has something to use in retaliation.
And if Felicity shows any particularly strong desire for one thing over others, Felix may duck into that store too and buy it.]
