[JW opens his mouth to say something else, feeling more comfortable bantering with the horrible horsebird owner so he didn't have to act like a person but then SLIGHTLY happens. The sudden sound and whirling visuals startles a little scream out of him.]

[There are furniture-being-knocked-over thuds and crashes, along with shouts and what can only be described as "ghost noises" ("Gweh! Gwe-geh! Garf!!")-- but the only thing visible on the screen is just the ceiling.]

He does take note of the state of the ceiling but he tucks that away for later. Right now he is trying to figure out if this girl is about to find a way to kill a GHOST or not.]

[The noises of conflict fade for a few minutes-- it definitely sounds like she chased the ghost up some stairs. Or maybe he phased through the ceiling and she was just running up the stairs vigorously enough for it to sound like two people.]

[In any case, when she reappears and picks the 'Gear back up, she is unharmed but a significant portion of her face IS covered in blue sharpie.]

See what I mean?

No, listen, you could draw a treasure map! And give it to them. Ghosts love being in graves. If...they're actually dead. I guess? The only dead person I know claims she likes being buried but I think she's just gross.

O--oh yeah. For a second there I lived in a perfect world without Pokemon. Yeah they're probably really good at digging graves. Or...just disposing of bodies I guess. Why are there so many goddamn dinosaur shaped Pokemon that people can just have out in the hotels. I hate it.
