[It's been a while since JW has appeared on the network. Today he is sitting at a breakfast table in the lobby of the Violet Hotel. He's not eating anything but there is a glass of orange juice at his elbow. Psyduck's paws can be seen poking into the corner of the frame.]

Hey, ya'll. Question.

[He glances to the side, clearly looking at something with disdain.]

Which Pokemon do you hate the most?

[Feed ends.]

Ah, yes. There are quite a few different versions of it, is there not? Though, one must wonder the relevance of distance when a being can pluck so many from just about anywhere—even those whom should be well beyond death's door.

Mayhap this reality's god has a particular fancy for your world, or those with similarities, such as mine.

Oft are they, I have found.

[At least he doesn't seem bothered my the good-natured laugh, offering JW a crooked smile that favors his right.]

Would it be remiss of me to presume you are not quite accustom to hearing one with my particular dialect? You would nary be the first, if that proves to be true.

[The shriek of laughter certainly gets a raise of Emet-Selch's eyebrows, an amused but baffled expression overtaking his features. Honestly, he's never quite had this reaction before, though others may have commented on his manner of speech, it was hardly through fits of laughter.]

Well, well... I cannot say I had expected that, but I suppose I am as glad as I am bemused by your levity. Worry not, I am not so lacking in awareness I do not realize the oddity in my manner.

Mm, I have indeed heard of your era—my partner having lived some few centuries past your present day and all that. As such, I am somewhat familiar with the differences in culture and speech, that my own seems rather archaic in comparison.

Though I will admit you are the first to find such humor in it. But I do suppose it all sounds rather absurd to you, yes?

Well, perhaps I misspoke. He is from an Earth's future, and I know of others from Earth that are roughly from your time, give or take a decade. Whether or not you two share the same variation of Earth would be difficult to prove, if not impossible. Nevertheless, I can say with confidence his dialect is none too different from your own.

It would seem the casual manner in which men from your world speak did not change over the centuries. Had he not told me otherwise, I would know not of the disparity between his time and yours.

Mayhap if things went differently for your potentially shared world, you might have carried a similarily archaic sound to your words. As it is, only me and mine are burdened with such privilege.

Regardless, I do not believe we properly introduced ourselves. I am Solus zos Galvus, but you need not address me in such a cumbersome manner--pray, merely refer to me as Solus.

Indeed, 'tis only good manners to share your name with the man you would make mock of, hm?

[He smiles, warm and crooked.]

'Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintance, JW. Tell me, have you been here very long?

Is it? Though worlds may be different, they still typically follow similar enough astronomical laws, and so too would the seasons abide. Now, I suppose if this world were bereft of a star to serve as the anchor of its orbit, then I could see how seasons may vary--or be absent altogether.

All the same, a year is no small measure of time to be held here, though I suppose I myself have been here for near half of one...

Perhaps, perhaps not. I do believe such qualifications greatly rely on the actions of the beholder. If one takes no effort to make the best of their situation, then truly it never will, as you say, get any better.

But I understand, I seek not to stay here longer than what is truly necessary.
