Do you suppose Suicune is...all right?
[Unusually without cheerful greetings or "hi my name is"--here's Botan. It's been a while, bit of a coma problem, bit of a "been busy, I'll check in later" problem. But--]
It's been some days since the broadcast and we haven't heard anything else, as far as I know. I'm sure Ho-Oh is doing its best, and it's not really our place to wonder, but I just can't help wondering what in Heaven's name managed to do that to Suicune. Or what made it ill.
I have a terrible feeling.
[Just an awful feeling.]
M...maybe I'm blowing it out of proportion. I don't know. It's just, people consider Suicune a deity, it's legendary as far as Pokemon go. It's bothering me.

All right, deep breath.]
I hope so. I sent some chocolate prayer tags along. If prayers don't work, at least chocolate can improve a mood.
[...]
Though, I should say, prayers are worth something. Belief benefits creatures like Pokemon quite a bit, I think.

[The folk from other worlds are the kind who tend to make sure to announce things loudly and repeatedly so everyone has a chance to pick up on the information.]
I sent some Poke Puffs to Suicune and Ho-oh both. I figured it's the least I could do...

[In fact, the only "godly" Pokemon she's seen thus far have been mischievous at worst but mostly benevolent--that doesn't seem right, there has to be a darker half to that coin, or else there isn't balance. Sometimes the simple placidity of the Pokemon world really gets to her considering the type of world she came from.]
Piffle. [Yes. "Piffle." That sums it up.] I just hope nobody else catches whatever happened to Suicune.

[But can you really help a mass black-out?]
Well, at least this isn't the first instance of it happening...Articuno's wing was reportedly sapped of color, too, back during prom. So I think we can surmise that this is the same culprit.

[And she played both groups of nerds for the pictures, but that's not relevant.]
My friend is telling me some other creatures came out of the sky? Again? Like those screaming jellies? I wonder if a time's going to come where we're going to have to fight one of those awful creatures.
no subject
Yes, these were more like angry wasps made of paper. I can't help but wonder if we're just seeing the tip of an iceberg of these creatures, honestly. We've already seen two different kinds...it's not hard to imagine there may be more, perhaps as many of them as there are of Pokemon.
no subject
Well, I might sound silly for this, more "alien" than even the "alien" Pokemon we have here.

Though I suppose if we're going by the rules of this world they'd be called...Wurmpleholes.
[She tries to keep a serious face for a moment.
But it fails soon and she cracks a smile.]

Wurmpleholes.
text;
But all my pokemon are doing all right. As far as I've heard, Suicune is the only one sick after all this.

Shiro you're going to have to be real with me, I've been in and out of a coma for months now.
"It"?

There was a camping event, out in the ruins of Alph. And all of the sudden... the same thing that happened back at Prom on the islands. Things coming out of a hole in the sky. Not the ones from the beach. Different ones.
Come to think of it
Something happened last prom, too, didn't it?
no subject
Wait.
Yes, I remember, Articuno ended up in dire straits too--pardon the pun. I actually took a picture of it. Like it was losing its color?
What did the creatures that came out at the Ruins look like?
no subject
Has anyone seen or heard anything from Articuno? Like we just did with Suicune? Or Moltres, from the jellyfish incident.
They looked like... like origami dolls. But sharp. Way more than paper could ever be.
no subject
Oh wonderful.
Killer origami from the wormholes.
no subject
Yep.
Just our luck, huh?
no subject
You know what I think?
I think they're not Pokemon. I think they're...something else. Not even animals, really, otherwise I'd be able to communicate with them in some degree.

I needed to get off the island for a bit - but we can check into that. Pretty sure he'd be up for research while we're there.
I think Ford was thinking something similar. That they're beings from another dimension.
no subject
I'm sorry for whatever led to you having to step out for a bit, though.
[It had to have been pretty Bad, Shiro doesn't just leave places for No Reason.]
Not surprised Dr. Pines already has a full theory behind it, either.
Although I am a little worried that should one of those things come out again he might try to get up close and personal with it, if he hasn't already. He seems the type.
no subject
We'll keep you posted. If we find out anything.
[He's just. Not going to talk about the rest of it.]
He does. And he said he's not ready to tell the public. Even when I asked.
He was also right there when everything happened.
Again.
no subject
Oh pft, of course, scientists are like that.
Though he also seems like the type to get into fisticuffs with one, too.
no subject
very flattering of you, Botan.
Oh yeah
He absolutely is.
I heard he got into a fight in the ruins
no subject
My gosh, it's a wonder he hasn't seriously hurt himself already, he's an amazing human.
no subject
Oh
Ford might have
at some point. Knowing him
no subject
Well yes. But in this world, at least, you're prevented from life threatening injuries.
[She doesn't even realize how hard she's trying to avoid bumbling into saying she's surprised Ford hasn't lost an arm, she's trying so hard.]
no subject
you know us - embarrassed easily sometimes. Much as we appreciate your support.
Yeah, that's true.
Saved me a couple times too

[Riku heaves a hefty sigh, arms crossed and a frown on his face.]
First the Jellyfish and now them... I feel like there has to be some connection. Makes me wonder what they are. Definitely not MISSINGNO...
