[With everything going on, it would be very easy to miss yet another glow coming from the sky somewhere to the west…this one the warm light of a flame rather than the blue glow of the portal. And it’s getting closer and closer very quickly.]
[The creatures’ portal can be seen all the way from One Island, if you’re up high enough.]
[And the very, very top of Mt. Ember, as it turns out, is plenty high enough.]
Wild Moltres appeared!
[It lets out a ringing, piercing cry as it draws near the island, swooping gracefully through the air and circling the portal. Many of the panicked wild Pokemon, and the locals for that matter, seem to stop and stare upwards in both awe and relief at the legendary bird.]
[The alien creatures, on the other hand, don’t know Moltres or have any innate feelings towards it. But they do react to a giant, fiery bird joining the fray by shying away from it, from the size of it, from its fiery wings and the confident way it flies.]
[It lets out another screech and swoops down over the meadow of abandoned kites, talons raised and wings spread wide. It is the guardian of these islands. And these creatures do not belong here.]
